Ritambhara is one of the most prominent personalities who emerged in Indian public life during the resurgence of the pan-Hindu movement. It is impossible to quantify the impact she has had on the making of Indian public opinion during that phase.
Millions have thronged to listen to her thought evoking speeches. Her tape recorded speeches were copied million of times and were distributed for this purpose. Two television channels regularly relay her discourses.
She became a sadhvi under the inspiration of ‘Pujya Acharya Maha Mandaleshwar Yugpurush Swami Parmanandji Maharaj’.
Ritambhara believes that every newborn is a divine creation since every soul is born to fulfill a divine mission. Deprived of parents, particularly mothers, some children have to seek refuge in orphanages which never provide self respect and a sense of mother’s protection which is normally available in a family.
